Moongrain is the night's answer to sunwheat: cool silver-blue stalks whose seed heads shimmer with a soft, pale luminescence, brightest under a dark sky. The rarest stands grow on the high, quiet isles where the air itself seems to hold still, and they yield a @items/grain-sheaves/moongrain to the few foragers skilled enough to cut them.
By day a stand is easy to walk past — gray, modest, half-asleep. By night it is unmistakable: a field of grounded moonlight, swaying.
