Rice

Rice grows where no other cereal will stand: bright green stalks rising from shallow, still water, their grain panicles drooping gracefully gold as they ripen. The paddy setting alone marks a rice stand from across a meadow, and what comes out of it is a damp, heavy Rice Sheaf.

Harvesting means wading in — cold feet, wet hems, and the realm's cleanest-tasting grain as fair payment for both.
