Iridescent rock at the exposed edges of the high isles, where aether has been working on bare stone since the lifting. 

Iridescent ore that forms only in the floating isles, where the raw aether of the upper air has been working on exposed rock since the Origin Stones raised these lands. It is cool to the touch, faintly magnetic, and noticeably lighter than the stone it comes out of.
The color shifts depending on the angle you hold it at. Miners at the high seams say a loose piece falls slower than it should, though nobody has ever managed to prove it to anyone who wasn't already convinced.


Skysteel Ore

Iridescent alloy born from the bones of the heavens.

 is cool to the touch and faintly magnetic, and deposits are few enough that their locations are worth keeping quiet about.
