Description
Woven at the loom from 
Hemp Fibers, burlap is the crudest cloth the realm knows — stiff, open-weave, and rough enough to raise a welt on tender skin. It takes no dye worth the name and holds no shape at all, but it is cheap, it is strong, and it never quite wears out.
It clothes the realm's poorest and sacks its grain in equal measure. No tailor is proud of a bolt of burlap, yet every tailor begins with one — it is the first cloth the hands learn to weave before they earn anything softer.
