Description
Iron Ore worked with 
Coal at heat, held there long enough for the metal to take up what the coal gives it. What comes out holds an edge iron cannot and springs back rather than bending.
It is the standard for anyone who fights for a living, and the first metal where the smith's skill counts for more than the ore did.
